One Hand Plants, The Other Destroys 🌱

🌍 One Hand Plants, The Other Destroys 🌱 On one hand, we teach our children to love the Earth. We plant trees by the millions. We speak of sustainability, warn about global warming, and rally for climate action. We tell them: “This planet is our only home.” But on the other hand— Thousands of bombs are dropped in a single day. Entire forests blazing. Oceans poisoned by war machines. Air choked not by factories, but by firestorms. In conflict zones, more explosives fall in days than nature can recover from in decades. The earth bleeds silently beneath our feet—burnt, buried, broken. We cry for melting glaciers while igniting cities. We celebrate Earth Day… Then applaud the next drone strike. How do we tell our children to plant trees— When we can’t even stop ourselves from detonating life? 🌱 We don’t need another slogan. We need to end the hypocrisy. Because there’s no climate justice… without peace. #climatechange #globalwarming #climatecrisis #savethe...

Free Mega Health Camp in Manmad Brings Quality Care to the Community

On 11th June 2025, a powerful example of community service came to life in Manmad.

The Rotary Club of Manmad Magic, in collaboration with SMBT Hospital Igatpuri and Saint Barnba Church, organized a free mega health camp that touched lives, offered healing, and reminded us what collective care truly means.

Held at Dr. Saif Qazi’s Ayush Clinic and Saint Barnba Parish Hall, the camp welcomed people from all walks of life — providing them with free consultations, health screenings, and real medical guidance.

Health Services Offered at the Camp

The camp saw an overwhelming response with 130+ patients benefiting from various health services:

  • πŸ«€ Cardiology Screening: 57 patients received free ECGs and heart consultations
  • πŸ‘‚ ENT Check-ups: 42 patients consulted for chronic issues related to ear, nose, or throat
  • πŸ”ͺ General Surgery Advice: 31 individuals received guidance for hernia, gallbladder problems, and other surgical concerns
  • 27 patients were advised surgery and will be supported through further preoperative fitness assessments and counselling.

This free medical camp in Manmad created real outcomes — not just for patients, but for families that finally had access to the kind of medical care they had been postponing for years.

The Team That Made It Happen

The success of this community health initiative was made possible by a deeply committed team:

  • Dr. Ravindra Surve – President, Rotary Club of Manmad Magic
  • Dr. Saif Qazi – Secretary and host physician
  • Er. Ayyub Shaikh – Project Chair
  • Rtn. Sandeep Wagh – Co-Chair
  • Pastor Pravin Ghule – Saint Barnba Church representative
  • Doctors and staff of SMBT Hospital – for their skill, presence, and support
  • Rotarians and volunteers from Saint Barnba Church – who made everyone feel welcome and cared for

This camp was not just a Rotary event. It was a shared effort between healthcare professionals, community leaders, and volunteers who gave their time wholeheartedly.

Why This Health Camp in Manmad Was Special

This wasn’t just about free checkups.
It was about dignified access to care.

From an elderly woman who finally had her heart examined, to a young man relieved to know his ENT problem wasn’t serious — the Rotary medical camp in Manmad offered not just treatment, but empathy.

Every consultation was a conversation. Every diagnosis came with reassurance. Every patient was seen as a human being, not a number.

What’s Next from Rotary Club of Manmad Magic

This mega health camp is just the beginning.
We are already planning our next rounds of free medical camps in Manmad:

  • Women's health awareness and gynaecology camps
  • ENT and paediatric outreach programs
  • Mental health and nutrition guidance
  • Follow-up care for surgical patients identified in this camp
  • Financial literacy and preventive health workshops

We believe healthcare is not a luxury — it’s a right.
And we will continue bringing it to the doorsteps of those who need it most.
